Puppy vaccinations

Hi. Hope my rambling makes sense! We have a 10 week old Border Terrier and he had his first vaccination at 8 weeks. The vet then told us the next jab is at 12 weeks followed by a MONTH before he goes out. So he will be 16 weeks old before he can go for a walk/puppy classes etc. Does this sound right?? I didn't want to question the vet but we had a dog many years ago and I am sure the timescales were shorter. Thanks.

First thing is to know which brand of vaccine your vet is using. You can then check the actual data sheets for the vaccine here.
It does seem longer than most brands, but they are all different.
