Hi, we are thinking of getting a dog.
Ds adores our friends chihuahua, and we're umming and ahhing about getti one tbh.
I work at my husbands business so dog would be with us all day, but where do I start looking?! Is there a chihuahua rescue? Are puppies very expensive?
I've only ever had big dogs (Gsd, labs etc) but ds is adamant he wants a chi (and has wanted one since he was very small, never wavered!) and I don't know much about little dogs if I'm honest.
Any ideas and tips, or spare chi pups lying about wanting homes?!

Don't even consider buying from people you see advertising on Preloved or Gumtree. You could look at local and national rescues, many have FB pages which are usually more updated than websites, Many Tears will have ex-breeders. Some will have chis due to elderly owners not being able to look after them any more etc.

For example, Boots or Snoopy

If you're going to look for a puppy...and a rescue in fact, have a look online for a breed club, they should be able to give you information on everything.
