Does anyone have a cat and a beagle?

Do they get on or is it mayhem?

I've never owned both at the same time but I did have a lovely beagle boy who was very friendly with local cats and wasn't in the slightest bit bothered by them. But, that said, he may have been a bit of a wuss though as he only had to see a swan for him to be running to stand behind me, tail between his legs and wimpering!!
