We are getting even nearer to getting a dog/puppy.
Thank you for the advice so far.
I remember a friend saying we would be better getting a girl. Why would this be?

You'd have to ask your friend really...lol.

There's no real huge differences, boys are bigger in some breeds. Boys scent mark on walks which can be annoying, but then girls have seasons.

I prefer boys, I find them more laidback and less opinionated than girls - but , other people say the exact opposite so I suspect it's just a personal thing.

I'd originally thought we'd get a girl but when the litter we were on the waiting list for was born there were only two girls and the breeder was keeping one and the other was going to be shown so we didn't have a choice. Our pup is lovely and affectionate and just generally gorgeous and I can't imagine that we'd have loved a girl any more

Sorry not been back -busy week! We have got a boy cockapoo called Wilson. We have the lovely village dog trainer coming over to give advice when he arrives. Would upload picture but it won't let me!
