My gsd pup is 8mths. Should she have five mins per age in months and is this once per day or twice ie 40mins x 2 or is this total.
Do dogs notice if its the same walk? She's mostly off lead as farmland-no animals. Or can she do same on lead? Is she getting enough exercise. She is super bouncy but always sleeps for a good while after walks. Would same amount of exercise be OK but broken into ten mins each walk?

Yes you should be being a bit cautious about exercise... But it is per walk not per day and off lead you don't have to be as careful about because then they are setting their own pace. So it's fine to do a couple of walks rather than one.

I've never found that dogs really get bored doing the same walks...I do, lol, I would with a puppy that age vary walks a bit so as to vary training experiences, but I wouldn't stress too much about whether you're walking in the same places often - most people do.

I'd be worried if an 8 month old GSD wasn't bouncy Grin but yes it's totally normal to have naps after walks and wake up all recharged.

If you're looking to tire her out without more walking (as obviously you want to do enough without going too far just now) I'd look at whether you can fit in more things to engage her brain, extra training sessions or some scentwork.
