Stupid Question Alert, re: shops

I was just wondering, is it ok to take my puppy into a shop with me? She's only 11 weeks old and I'm too scared to leave her outside on her own.

We are planning on a trip to a big park in another town and will be bringing her with us for the day. I am also bringing her carrier so that she can sleep in it when tired (she loves sleeping in it even at home), and just wondered whether it would be ok to take her into a shop whilst in her carrier? Has anyone done it?

Each individual shop will make it's own rules, you have to ask them.

Yep you'll have to ask the shops. Whatever you do, do not under ANY circumstances leave a puppy tied outside a shop whether you can see her or not. It only takes a second for someone to steal a dog outside a shop. I imagine a puppy will be a lot more attractive to steal as they're easily sellable.

Thank you. I was going to ask anyway, just thought someone may have some experience. I wouldn't actually leave her outside, just mentioned it in case if someone was to reply saying just leave her outside. Thank you!
