.........and one of them is now producing pure hydrogen sulphide gas in large quantities!

The smell of rotten eggs is overwhelming. Worse, I haven't been able to identify the culprit as we have four dogs and it could be any one of them! They all seemed to be partners in the original crime (though I suspect I know which one worked out how to get to, and then into, the container).

I'm going to die of asphyxiation! They are used to sleeping in with DH and I but I think it'll have to be out in the hall tonight. Cat food is obviously richer than dog food.

Any tips to alleviate my poor nose? Grin

My vet told me that cat food to dogs is like a dozen Big Macs for us - so imagine how you would feel after that!
The smell is appalling but, be warned, if they react like my boy they will have 'the trots' tomorrow!

Yes, we had the trots, one of them all over the landing this morning which was great to wake up to Envy

The cat food is going to have to be kept under lock and key from now on. I think they thought it was much better than dog food and their luck was in - their stomachs clearly didn't agree!
