When should you expect pup to be dry over night?

Our pup had colitis so we could not expect a lot. However her crate has been dry for about a week now but the last few days her crate has been dirtied even after 1 hour. It is getting depressing. She gets last walk and play in garden 20.30am and then we up 6am. Am i getting expecting too much? She does notcrate for toilet so

Ours was clean and dry pretty quickly but we have a baby monitor set up and we get the occasional call during the night. I read that it could take up to 6 months to sort toilet training out.

Eric was clean overnight from the off between 11pm and 6am but I think he has a bladder and bowel of steel tbh as he goes hours and hours between pees because he doesn't use the garden and so waits for his walks. So last walk last was 22.15 and first walk today was 9.30.

I think 20.30 might be a little early for a last time outside - her dinner could still be working it's way through her system (if you see what I mean!). Could you push it back by a couple of hours?

We let our 13 week old pup put no earlier than 10:00 for a last wee. He'll then sleep until 6:30 (possibly longer but haven't pushed it yet) without any accidents. I agree that 8:30 is quite early for a last outing.

DDog1-about 14 weeks.

DDog2-about 8 months!

Sorry made a mistake she is last out 10.30pm and she up 6am. I dont know if her crate is too big as she can comfortably do her business without making a mess of her bed. She did have colitis but is better now. We are all a bit demented

My dog is one now, but she has done 10ish - 6 a.m. since she was about 3 1/2 months old. At weekends she goes 11ish - 8 am which is lovely.
She did soil in her crate between in the initial weeks, but she never cried or let us know, I would just come down to a lovely mess in the morning!
The last time she did anything in the house was last Christmas, which considering we only got her last October is not bad. She's a good girl!

Yes am having the same problem in that she does not let us know and come down to a mess. Will just have to keep on perservering
