We have a 9 wk springer x cocker spaniel, he is very high energy which I expected - everything I read said spaniels are great with kids, quick to train etc
I am finding him really really difficult with my 5 yro, jumps, nips/bites - seems playful, he obviously sees him as a playmate/toy but I just don't know how to stop it and socialise him with him without him going utterly utterly mental.
It's really wearing me down, any tips?

I've put peanut butter in a kong, but I'm only giving that to her in her crate at the moment (she isn't a big fan of the crate).

The hounds-kikopup is your friend! Go look! Grin it has tips on crate training biting jumping up-loads of good info. You can put most things in a kong, maybe you could pop puppys lunch into it and give her it in the crate? Its important to make the crate a fun place to be full of treats and toys and somewhere safe if your ds has friends to visit for example

borrower sorry been trying to train the terrorist. She is 10 weeks today. It is still constant but I am sure we will get there eventually.
