Recommendations for puppy trainer in Surrey?

TouchPauseEngage · 13/09/2014 09:22

Posting on behalf of my sister, who is getting a puppy next month (before anyone says anything, I've tried and tried to convince her to get a rescue to the point of arguing but she won't)

Can anyone recommend any good puppy classes in the area?

Also although her DH works from home, he will occasionally need to go to meetings so any recommendations for great dog walkers would also be appreciated.

Thanks!

I don't live in Surrey but the association of pet dog trainers is a good place to start...here's a link to the Surrey trainers

Whereabouts in Surrey?

TouchPauseEngage · 13/09/2014 09:58

I'll get her to check out the link above. She doesn't have alot of friends in the area as they only moved recently so can't ask for personal recommendations a

She's in Kingston.

Whilst she looks for a trainer I would definitely use this as my puppy bible:

How far is she willing to travel? If she has a gundog breed I would recommend Sally Chandler's classes

Thanks everyone. She's getting a Tibetan terrier so not a gun dog!

Personally, I wouldn't use Royvon. This would put me off.
