My puppy is at the mouthing phase of chewing hands/feet etc . I always divert with a chew toy .However when i carry her downstairs (shes to teeny to do herself) especially in garden she snarls and goes for me when placed on the ground?

Yes its normal. My 7 month old used to snarl and growl when I picked her up when she was doing something she shouldn't.

No, it's not normal for them to be a tiny bit aggressive. It's normal for them to be a lot aggressive as puppies!

Most puppies IME object to being carried...you know those tantrums toddlers have because they want to do something they're not actually capable of doing, with lots of wailing, my do it!!! It's the canine version of that.

Haha glad im not alone she is very strong willed and has small dog syndrome ! If you stop her doing something undesirable she certainly asserts herself !
