The kind of people who breed their animal to let their children see kittens/pups being born or so their animal gets a chance to be a mum shouldn't be allowed to breed full stop.

It's a good article. If only it would make a difference.

Hear, hear.

I saw a bumper sticker the other day: "Don't breed or buy while shelter pets die".

I've learnt so much about dogs while doing research over the past couple of years and one thing that's shocked me the most is how breeding is so unregulated and unchecked. It's a massive problem that I didn't even have a clue about before & I'm guessing most non-dog people don't either. Is it likely that any government will ever bring in any kind of regulation?

My lab bitch was rescued from a friend of a friend. We were told she was 2.

We took her to get spayed and the vet informed us she was younger, more like 16-18 months and has already had a litter. Sad

Wtf is wrong with people?

I thought about this post this morning, I was walking down the street I used to live on and I see that my old neighbour has bred her dog again. Now she's selling off the STAFFY pups. No words are there?
