Logistics after spaying...

Yet another thing I never thought I'd be worrying about before I got a puppy!

My lovely lab is being spayed this week. She normally goes in the boot when we go out in the car and I lift her in and out. I'm a bit worried about what to do when I collect her from the vets after the op. Is there a risk I'd burst the stitches if I try to pick her up to put her in the car? What do other people do?

Any thoughts appreciated.

If you lift her with your arm around her bottom and scoop her in she will be fine :)

And ask a nurse to help if you need to, we don't mind:)
