Staffie puppy- an update....

So DPup has been with us 2 1/2 weeks now, partly due to some excellent advice and support I got on here.
She and DS(10) are inseparable- he was back at school today and left me with express instructions that I was not to forget her lunch (I have had dogs for 20 years :o)
They start puppy classes on Friday which he's really looking forward to despite my gentle reminders that she could turn into a feral creature in a class situation and he shouldn't take it too much to heart. He got up and walked her this morning before school, only 15 minutes which is fine by me as she came out with me and the boys this afternoon.
Apart from the occasional accident (normally my fault as the boys mooch about a lot and I tend to mistake her "want to go out" mooching for general mooching Hmm) and the destruction of a flip flop she really has been amazing and we couldn't be more pleased with her :)
And today is a special day as her new Hunter collar has arrived so she's really "one of the pack" now :o

So once again a huge thank you to everyone for your advice and support. We are about to go out and meet DS off the school bus, a social faux pas at 10 but somehow acceptable when his puppy is there :o

Great thanks :)
In truth there was a lot of talking initially of which quite a lot went over DS's head but they really enjoyed the practical bit and were both completely shattered once they got home :o
Practising is coming on well too though I have been supplementing DS's slightly scatterbrained methods when he's not around :o
