I need to buy a coat and pyjamas for my whippet.

If I had my way she would have a full set of leathers

So what's the best place to buy a nice thick winter coat?
And she needs pyjamas as my house gets cold overnight during the winter.

Equafleece do nice warm jumpers and coats and they wash beautifully.

I really like Milgi raincoats and house fleeces. For pjs, I am v happy with the Meggie moo ones cmotdog has. Though he is a bit addicted to them, and would like to wear his jumper permanently.

We also have a high vis Blizzard coat.

I'm in a quandary here - as Milgi is my business, but we do make lovely cosy fleece housecoats, tough ripstop raincoats, and bandanas to complement.

Personally, I don't think you have to have PJs as our housecoats are cut very deeply round the body, and keep tummy, bum and chest lovely and warm. Couple of pics attached of whippy clients looking especially adorable.

I feel your pain. Rarely a day passes when Pip isn't sporting yet another new wound of some sort and we've had numberable emergency vet trips for stitching in his single year on this planet so far. It comes with having turbo power, very little control over their legs and no brakes!

We have a Milgi fleece in place of PJs for him and he adores them. As Scuttle said, they are cut big and he looks ridiculously cuddly and snug in his (pic on profile (scroll down a bit, after all the ones of him unpacking his new treat ball ). He can't wait to get into his at bedtime, but does have a tendency to take it off himself if he feels we aren't moving fast enough in the morning and he wants his breakfast!

I've bought all his outdoor coats relatively cheaply off an ebay seller that makes them to order very quickly (usually a 48 hour turnaround) but hesitate to recommend, as the only time I did the coat concerned didn't fit the dog properly when it arrived, which is a shame, as we've had several off her as he's grown and they've all been great. We have both fleece lined winter coats and lightweight raincoats for Pip off her and they're both fine for him. She does do coats specifically for Whippets though, so you may not have the same problem with fit as someone with a Lurcher, as they can be such different shapes and proportions. I've just bought it in the 20". Fingers crossed it'll fit. Pup is only 9 months old so I went bigger to allow her to grow a touch more.

I really like the spotty jumper but dont think dh will be pleased with me getting dafty dog another jumper dafty has her own duvet and duvet cover and fleece blankets in winter we just see her nose poking out underneath

I've missed the boat but can thoroughly recommend scuttle's lovely house coats as PJs. I'm not sure how it happened, but we have a little stack that I've now found a space for in my wardrobe They are also fab for keeping warm and drying off after bathtime.

You haven't missed the boat spicy, I've ordered a fleece from scuttle for Mrs Whippy to wear in the house!

I can thoroughly recommend the cordura fitted coats made by someone that advertises on the Lurcher Link forum here - my lurcher has had hers for 18 months and it looks brand new (despite her tendency to go through hedges without worrying about the blackthorn or barbed wire). I love the milgi housecoats - he should be lovely and warm in that.
