I am looking at dog training books - so many to choose from! I've narrowed down my choice to two - Total Recall by Pippa Mattinson and The Perfect Companion - Understanding, Training and Bonding with Your Dog! by Karen Davison.
I am getting a rescue dog (2 yrs old) in a few weeks, so I want good, basic books to help me. So many concentrate on training a puppy which isn't relevant. I've looked after dogs before and had a foster dog but feel I need more information now I'm getting my own dog 
Any other recommendations would be gratefully received!
