Campsite refusing certain types of dogs

Rottweilers
Dobermans
Mastiffs

Is this a normal thing?!

I don't know but we went to a beach off a campsite this summer and we kept our dog on the lead because she can be a bit skittish. But there were one or two families who let their dog cause mayhem for other dogs/families because they were scrappy and I'm sorry to say, they were the type on your list :(

It's the owners fault, not the dogs or campsite. Owners need to be taken to task imo. In my observation only one family said anything and then they put the offending dog back on lead (result) then the complaining families dog had a huge crap in the middle of a family friendly beach and they just kicked sand over it

I DESPAIR!

It seems more and more common.
