Hi, I've had a cat for 14 years never had a flea problem, got a puppy 3 months ago and my house is now completely infested! Making me really quite icky! We tried various different things then about 3 weeks ago she had frontline and we sprayed the whole house with johnsons 4fleas house spray. I combed 10 of her yesterday!
I really don't know what else to do!
I'm due to move in a month don't want to take them with me and obviously don't want to leave them for the next tenant!
Any advice?

Hi OP,

Don't panic, I know the stuff that works.

Go to the vets and get Advocate for your puppy and cat. It's the only thing that works very very quickly. Fleas seem to be a bit resistant to Frontline from what I'm hearing at the moment.

Also at your vets you'll be able to buy a brilliant household flea spray, either RIP (very good and the least harmful to children and other pets as it's silicone based), Indorex and another one I can't remember.

Anyway, that's your action plan, read the instructions on which ever spray for the house you use and treat the pets.

Good luck!

I second the resistant to frontline. waste of money. Go to your vet and they will have the best product to use.
