And I'm very sad Sad

Is it normal for them to be so subdued? She's had a bout of diarrhea, and one wee.

Other than that, won't eat or drink, and has barely moved from her pillow. She looks almost depressed.

I've got her upstairs with me tonight. I'm not sure whether that's good or bad. She's not usually allowed upstairs. Maybe I've unsettled her by bringing her up.

Maybe the pain killers have worn off and it hurts her Sad

Oh my little doggy, you are going to give me a nervous breakdown

Reaction to anaesthetic?

Poor baby. What a shock for you both. Hope she's better in the morning.

It's probably shock. If I were you I'd take her back to the vet if you are worried I'm pretty sure Dylan died because of the shock (it was an infection that took over very quickly). They can shake really a lot as well, also shock coming out, Dylan was terrible with it. Good luck, please let us know how she gets on.

How is she this morning ?

monkeyfacegrace · 12/07/2014 10:19

She seems better today. Has had some water, and I woke up to her trying to eat my face Grin

I made a bed for her on the floor by my bed but my midnight she had wormed her way in between me and DH.

Hopefully she will eat something. First, I have to drag myself out of bed!

Poor pup. I'm glad she's feeling better, but you do realise you've created a monster. I can just see you posting in a few weeks "cat get my dog to stay out of my bed!" Grin when our poor oldest yorkie was very sick we brought him into our bed for a 'couple' of nights, years ago. He only just started sleeping downstairs 1 1/2 years ago when DH took ill.

I'm just about to take my DH his breakfast in bed and the two yorkies will be waiting at the lift door to get in as they love their spoiltest rotten time with him. He'll be no doubt feeding them some of his breakfast. No wonder they love getting up their with him. Smile Then he'll FaceTime me when the oldest boy wants to come back down, whereas the youngest will cuddle up for a snooze with DH.

There's nothing better than waking up to dog cuddles. In second thoughts, I could see you starting to delay putting her downstairs and your DH being on here complaining that his wife makes him sleep on the floor to make room for the dog!

Oh she is so adorable! Hope you both feel a lot better soon.
Agree you will probably never get here to sleep any where else now! < shares bed with large golden retriever>
