Well, we now have our 2 Dogs Trust dogs: rough-haired black and tan JRT and a Yorkshire Terrier. JRT male is 4 1/2, and she is 3 1/2. Both are wonderful. We picked them up yesterday and they have settled wonderfully (although I appreciate this may be the honeymoon!!).
No messes, no puddles, come when called, love the garden.......both have tried their toes out (and a bit more) in our fish pond 
. Both pull on the lead, but that can be sorted. They love to cuddle up at night (just as well my son has a king-sized bed!!). They are also quite happy to chill out and relax when the house is quiet. And they don't beg for food when we are eating.
All in all, no worries. Am so pleased we got them after all.
