I was looking at making coats for our whippet puppy as the smallest fleece coat we bought is still too big for him.

I found this easy, no sew pattern.

Very cute, I'm not sure it would work on a sighthound though as the depth you would need for the chest would be in the wrong place iyswim?

I made a couple of these for my whippy boy as he was growing, very rough and ready but did the job.

Does he really need a coat atm though? They are not as fragile as they look Wink, they only time ours need coats in the summer is for very late evenings outside camping, when it gets a bit chilly.

Thank you for link.

He shivers in the morning when we first go outside if it's windy!

He goes all shivery if the dew is on the grass which is why I leave it until 7 before taking him out in the morning.

I don't normally promote my business on here, but we make fleece coats for greyhounds, lurchers and whippets. We have a stock range from 18" back up to 30" and can do bespoke as well, usually at no extra charge. Link here
