No sew dog [or cat ;) ] coat/sweatshirt!

I was looking at making coats for our whippet puppy as the smallest fleece coat we bought is still too big for him.

I found this easy, no sew pattern.

Very cute, I'm not sure it would work on a sighthound though as the depth you would need for the chest would be in the wrong place iyswim?

I made a couple of these for my whippy boy as he was growing, very rough and ready but did the job.

Does he really need a coat atm though? They are not as fragile as they look , they only time ours need coats in the summer is for very late evenings outside camping, when it gets a bit chilly.

He shivers in the morning when we first go outside if it's windy!

He goes all shivery if the dew is on the grass which is why I leave it until 7 before taking him out in the morning.
