Has anyone got recommendations?

I need something for an older dog who has no health issues but is a little slower to move their bed on cold mornings nowadays. Large breed.

The woven Tuffies nests go down well in this house.

I recently bought this cool bed

kinkymouse · 18/06/2014 15:33

Posted too soon. My lad gets a bit hot and uncomfortable and he loves this. Plus it's really easy to clean. It's a bit like lying on a trampoline if you've ever had the pleasure. Very comfortable.

HavantGuard · 18/06/2014 15:34

Thank you. Both look good. Feel free to keep the suggestions coming. I may buy one for outdoors and one for indoors

Tuffie nests here as well :)

Here's dog 2 modelling her new dog bed. We were given a memory foam cot bed mattress when a friend replaced her. I cut down a single bed cover (£8.99 in Argos, came with the 2 pillowcases). Added a couple of pillows and her old blanket and she loves it. She has some knee and hip problems so a comfy bed is really important for her. The mattress came with a waterproof cover too, so it's easy to clean.

Cot bed mattress is a great idea!

Mine love their trampoline beds we also got the vet bed covers which made them even comfier looking.
Ddogs waver between these and the plastic beds with Tuffies fleece covers too many dogs and too much choice in this house

Ddog keeps coming back to the karlstad...

I'd say this is worth a try - their vet bed is good quality and it might follow that these are too

Grin Merry. They already have a sofa!

I think I'll go with a cool bed outside and a mattress inside. They already have sheets and blankets Grin

Wow. Tuffie nests. I think I want one of those for myself.

TooOldForGlitter · 19/06/2014 15:06

I couldn't afford to spend that sort of money on a bed for myself let alone my dog.

HavantGuard · 19/06/2014 16:22

One of the best thing about dogs is that they don't care how much you spend on them. My youngest one thinks cardboard boxes are the best thing in the universe. The older one steals DH's dirty fleeces and treats them as his precious.

TooOldForGlitter · 19/06/2014 16:33

Oh that's definitely a good thing! Grin

LetThereBeCupcakes · 19/06/2014 19:19

Glitter same here. That's why the DDogs are on the old cot-bed mattress!
