Taking a dog to Centerparcs

Has anyone here done this. We are going in a few weeks and I'm taking our labrador with us. I am wondering what I need to take. Lead, food, toys and poo bags obviously but do I also need to take a bed and her bowls?

Yes and yes. Possibly some water too. Some dogs get upset tums with a water change.

Take a towel for her too in case she gets muddy/wet.

Take several towels - she is a labrador and will get muddy/wet!

Do you have a screw in dog lead? We often take one if going for a picnic - means you can relax a bit

We have taken our lab twice to Centreparcs Whinfell Forest. Centreparcs isn't that exciting for dogs as they have to stay on lead, except for the dog exercise areas which are the size of a postage stamp. They are also not allowed in any of the centre buildings etc.. We take our dog's crate and put it in the sitting/dining/kitchen area in the accommodation. He stays there at night and if we are out for a couple of hours. We draw the curtains when he is in alone so he doesn't see people going past. They put a sign in the porch window of the accommodation with dogs, so that Centre staff don't go in whilst you are out. When we take our dog on holiday we weigh out his food in advance into ziploc bags, taking a couple extra just in case. The screw in tethers are good as you will have a patio or balcony where you can sit out. Take some chews/bones for your dog to keep him occupied outside.

Nothing is provided for your dog - the "dog villas" are just easy-clean ones in certain parts of the village close to the dog exercise areas.

By balcony I actually mean raised decking...
