Dog does not like going for walks without the kids. She will either stand or sit and look at me, or try to head back to the car/house. It doesn't matter if I attach her lead to the harness or the lead. However, if the kids are with me she will run after them, pulling heavily on the lead and me in a bid to keep up with them.
I have found three enclosed public areas where she can run relatively safely and chase after a ball. But trying to get her to walk to them from the car involves me dragging her.
Anybody know what I am doing wrong????? She is a spaniel collie cross.
