Wet and Dry food

Can you give a puppy a mixture of dry and wet food? I put water in her dry food but worry that it gets a bit boring for her. On the other hand I don't want to upset her stomach. Do you have to choose between one of the two?

It's not a good idea to mix in the same meal as they digest at different rates and can cause an upset tummy. But at separate meals a few hours apart it is usually okay.

My dogs have always had a mixture of both wet and dry food (incidentally, so does our cat). No problems here.

WE put a bowl full of dry food down in the morning. She eats about half first thing and then snacks on the rest through the day. Whatever dry food is left at 6pm ish gets mixed with half a tin of wet food as her 'main meal'.

Thanks. I've always owned cats before and mixed their food but wasn't sure if it was the same for dogs. My plan was to give her dry food in the morning and the wet food later in the day.
