You hear stories of dogs suffering from arthritis in old age.
Do you guys give your pets any supplements when theyre young to help to prevent it?
If so, what do you give?

I dont want to give my dogs every vitamin pill, supplements under the sun, or theyll be popping pills like some people.
But just want to give them something that is essential for their health in their senior years.

And out of interest, do you also give them something for their general health?

I give my girl Riaflex Canine Joint Plus now she is middle aged, but don't supplement for my younger dog, just try to feed him a healthy diet.

My dog is 5 and has joint issues so has riaflez canine joint plus, which he hates. Before that we used Yumove which he loved! We switched because he needed more help and can't take nsaids.

He also has a zinc tablet once aday (if he eats it) because he rips all the skin off his feet, and prescibed painkillers.

If he didn't have issues I wouldn't bother giving him supplements as long as his diet is ok.
