Does anyone feed nature diet?

Usually feed raw, but now I have two dogs thinking this would be a great alternative when we are camping, visiting relatives etc. In all honesty don't think I can take another year of faffing around with raw meat in a tent ;)

The only problem is there are some terrible reviews online complaining about mouldy and rotten packets, was wondering if this was something anyone has experienced and whether it has put them off.

we used to but changed to nature's harvest because of the problem with the packaging - we were getting a lot of mouldy packs. this was 2 or 3 years ago now so I don't know if the packaging has improved. we had no issue with the food itself.

I raw feed normally and use it when we go away. It's probably two since we started and I've had no packaging problems, other than sometimes having to cut the film lid off as it's so well stuck. Maybe that's how they fixed the problem! As long as your dogs are okay with rice I would recommend.

I'm about to trial a freeze dried raw that you rehydrate as it would take up less room when we go for two weeks in the summer.

Two years that should say

I'm another raw feeder who has used it on the odd occaison when staying with family. Not had an issue with packaging or with dogs guts.

Let us know how the freeze dried raw goes Spicy Smile

I'm another raw feeder that uses natures diet as a back up for days when I forget to defrost never had a problem.

Thanks everyone, hopefully that means they might have sorted the issue then, I think I'll give it a try :)

Freeze dried sounds very interesting, would love to know how it goes, will have to Google.

www.k9natural.co.uk is what we're trying. It's expensive but then so is a bigger car to pack all the dog food in Smile
