Puppy threw up yellow foam

There was a little puddle of it in her crate then she went outside and threw up a big foamy string of it. She's pottering around but isn't 100%. She's had a poo which seemed normal and has nibbled at a couple of treats. Had a google and there's a few different views (as usual) Shall I ring the vets or see how she goes today?

the vet will tell you to starve her for 24 hours then feed her a light diet, ie boiled egg, chicken, rice etc - not her normal food straight away, introduce that back into her diet a bit slower and see how she goes, the foam sounds like bile

I'd see how she goes. Its not unusual to get the odd foamy vomit.

The younger she is the more likely I'd be to go quicker to the vets as I guess they can go downhill faster. But not for one vomit.

When my pup was six months he had d&v for just under 24 hours. I think I googled and advice was more than 24 hours to take him.

Do not starve puppies they become hypoglycaemic see how she goes if she vomits again sees vet.

Thanks for the quick replies. Our walk goes past the vets so I'm going to pop in and ask. She's four months this week so still very young and I'd rather be on the safe side.

Quick update. There's air in her intestine which is from bacteria caused by something she's eaten along the way. She's had an injection (little yelp that broke my heart) and has some prescription food and a syringe to take twice a day. Hopefully all cleared up in a couple of days
