I think that's really low! Blush
I would choose my dog over a new partner. Surely you are incompatible if you don't both like dogs anyway

Confused

Maybe they asked about current partners?

Oh it was on the Wright stuff (I know) www.facebook.com/officialwrightstuff?ref=stream&hc_location=stream

It does say new lover but current partner....hmm I think I would still pick the dog

New lover? Pah! Pets first every time. That programme is obviously popular with fools silly people. Be careful it's not catching Wink

I would have chosen my dog over a new partner. No way would I have given up my darling dog. Or my old cats for that matter. Luckily dH was not allergic to them, or the dds would not have happened.

I'd been with DP about 4 months when he got 2 kittens, and I was very allergic and not a cat person at all.

It was a very close call between them and me and I am not entirely sure I would have won, but luckily as we approached 'the deadline', I became used to them and the allergies stopped. We've been together 5 years now (me and DP; one of the cats was run over, but the other is still around and a mummy's boy ) Grin

Meant to say - I think if it was a new partner, the figure would be higher than 1 in 10!
