what do you wear on your own feet when your walk your pooch Grin

i need something comfortable but waterproof that will support my falling arches - wellington boots are not doing my plantar fasciitis any good at all

has anyone got any good recommendations, please? we like to walk a mixture of tarmac and then go off-road. i'm most comfortable in running shoes, but these aren't waterproof and muttley loves mud

I wear lightweight walking boots or walking shoes most of the year, if it's really muddy then Hunter type wellies.

mindalina · 15/05/2014 11:17

dp buys this sort of thing for weta nd muddy dog walking :)

I use Merrell Snow Boots for weather that calls for wellie type footwear.
Pricey but well worth it imo

I wear long 'country 'boots ,they came from Equestrian Clearance ,which is an online company. They are very lightweight and comfortable and I also have plantar fasciitis . In the summer I wear either crocs or Birkenstocks depending on the weather .

I get on best with a really good pair of leather walking boots. Have tried and failed with wellies. I'd rather bear the humiliation of gators than the pain of walking any kind of distance in wellies.

Trainers

SpicyPear · 15/05/2014 11:55

Oops, I meant gaiters. Not the snappy things that live in Florida.

Grin at snappy footwear

thanks, lots to look at here.

a friend recommended Le Chameau, am now drooling over those too, but also pondering on which family member to put on ebay to fund them Shock

Thanks
