What shall I call my new puppy? She's a female whippet collie cross.

She's definitely an Indie Grin

Aked · 06/05/2014 21:43

She is absolutely gorgeous:) I love her. Can I have her if you can't decide on a name? I don't think you should keep her if you can't name her.....

Aked · 06/05/2014 21:44

But I like Gracie and Indie, and Izzie:)

poorpaws · 07/05/2014 17:32

So I registered her at our vets practice today. Her name is ......

?

Yes she's registered as question mark cos I still can't decide.
Nothing suits her. It's driving me crazy.

She doesn't look like a question mark.

She is so beautiful.

Call her beauty !

Her nose looks like a black button !

Gileswithachainsaw · 07/05/2014 17:55

Skylar

slartybartfast · 07/05/2014 18:42

you must, put names in a hat and pull one out, and go with it!
is there just you deciding?

poorpaws · 07/05/2014 19:09

She is my dog but daughter, family and a friend have input.
She is my 15th dog (I'm old) so I think I've used all my favourite names. I've never had this problem before and I just can't decide. I'm driving myself and everyone else crazy with constant suggestions. People are making suggestions and I just say "ner don't like that". I'm very annoying apparently.

Merlot (because of her markings)?

poorpaws · 07/05/2014 19:17

I already have Molly and Rosie and need a name that goes with those two. We will be out walking a lot so I need something that sounds ok if you shout it over a field. You can't really shout "Whisper" which I love for a grey dog, though it obviously doesn't meet my criteria of ending with ie or y. I also adore "breeze" but my daughter won't speak to me if I have that as she wants it for her next dog.

MargeryAllingham · 07/05/2014 19:27

Blue? For the blue eyes? It's a popular collie name.
Or Pip? Meg?
I know they're not ie names...
Ooo - Bessie? Jessie?

She's utterly gorgeous. Am v jealous Grin

slartybartfast · 07/05/2014 19:43

evie?

Ohbyethen · 07/05/2014 20:03

Molly, Rosie and Poppy (cuts down some work as sounds like puppy!)

Penny.
Whisper would be shortened to Wisp probably so easy to call.

I'd probably call her Esme though so who am I to say?!

Jenda · 07/05/2014 20:12

Molly Rosie and Gracie sound good together. ... but then I love Indie. Can't see the pic as on my phone. What's her personality like?

chocolatelime · 07/05/2014 20:13

I would call her Skye as she has the most beautiful blue eyes. What a gorgeous puppy!!

littlewhitebag · 07/05/2014 21:02

Sadie? (That's my dogs name so i am biased!)

Gileswithachainsaw · 07/05/2014 21:05

Lara
Isis
Tia
Storm

Dunwhingin · 07/05/2014 21:10

Biddy

poorpaws · 07/05/2014 21:11

Jenda - her personality is fabulous, bold and fearless. She's not 7 weeks old yet but very outgoing and full of life. She's going to be a little madam.

Ohbye - I've already had a poppy and a penny (they were sisters).

poorpaws · 07/05/2014 21:14

Chocolatelime - my daughters dog is Skye. We're a big doggy family. Puppy's mum was Skye too.

JuniperTisane · 07/05/2014 21:21
