Would a dog remember a place/person from about 4 years ago do you think?
My dogs are going in kennels for a fortnight and I'm hoping that the nervous dog I have remembers being in before as she has a issue with new people, she was ok before it just took a few days to get used to the staff and even then she only allowed the same person to walk/feed her!
It's the same at home, I'm the only one that she'll quite happily go a walk with or lie beside.
