Grass/pollen allergy?

During the lovely weather this week me and the dog (1 yo shar pei) have spent lots of time out in the garden. I've noticed that she has been quite itchy and looking a bit sore on the belly. She loves lying on the grass in the sun (who doesn't), but I think that it is causing the itching. Any thoughts/suggestions?
