I have two whippets and would like to feed our dogs a raw diet. DH on the other hand is worried that when the dogs eat the raw chicken they will get the raw meat on their paws and walk it in on the floor?

So what do you do?

I don't give it huge amounts of headspace tbh !

I prefer to feed bones outside but just disinfect the floor otherwise. I don't worry about paws but likewise I can't say I have noticed him use his paws much either.

Thats what I thought.

We have a steamer which we could quickly go over the kitchen floor after, if its such a big deal..Dh is such a PITA sometimes Hmm

www.facebook.com/groups/rawfeedinguk/ is a good place with loads of info. I think as long as you keep hygiene as you would with your own food, it will be fine. They don't use their paws to hold food (maybe bigger bones only), they just chew and swallow!
