The brown lady is my old girl who died in September aged 14.

The black one is our baby from a kill-pound, she's now almost 7 months old. (Sorry, I mean a pound that kills their dogs after 1 week)

This is my Ralphie, he is 11 weeks old and is a beautiful English Springer Spaniel. He has just been rumaging where I'd been digging in the garden, so has a blob of mud on his nose

Another Springer! He was watching the sun go down from the threshold of our Northumbrian holiday house!

Why is my Springer such a scruffy git? He is like a sheep. Not silky and clean.

He's a mud-magnet, he doesn't always look like that! We don't wash him though, he just gets a hose down on his lower portions - I don't know if that helps?

My collie-boy Charlie McFuzzybutt who is a four year old rescue dog. He came to us in October 2011 from Friends of the Animals (RCT) in Wales. We brought him up to live with us in Scotland. He is an awesome chap and a wonderful advert for rescue dogs.

Nah. See my picture up there. My boy has a very thick coat. I never bath him but do have to have him clipped in the summer or he gets too hot.

He swims a lot.

Velvet (6 months) & Domino (18 months)

Velvet on the beach and on the rug (just before we put it away for safekeeping...) I should have more of Domino but I don't - every time I go to take a picture he comes up for a cuddle!
