Great toys for a strong cocker spaniel.

Hello all,

I'm looking for some recommendations for some really good, and importantly, long lasting toys for an energetic and playful cocker spaniel. He has rawhide bones, and they're fine.... But they're not as much fun as a rope toy or a plastic thing, however, it seems such a waste to buy the 'fun' stuff as he demolishes it within minutes every time! Plus he needs to be closely monitored so that he doesn't do himself any damage with the debris!

I've tried the specific brands for strong dogs, and they just don't hold his interest like the cheapo ones do. Has anyone found any really good toys that are interesting AND last longer than a day?

A Kong stuffed with canine treats!

Ours loves those unstuffed toys, oddly he chews the ears a bit when he gets them and then loves carrying them around, ragging them, squeaking them and generally throwing them around. He's got a collection now.

he loves this fox

Interestingly one of the customer comments is from another spaniel owner, I paid £5.99 at a local pet shop.

Plastic bottle with a bit of pasta in it for noise, tied inside an odd sock.

Dpup has a few of these unstuffed toys which have lasted quite a while now, mostly unscathed...

He's also got a toy from pets at home which is a water bottle cover with a squeaky top which seems pretty indestructible
