Disastrous recall - update

You may recall (Wink) my thread from a few weeks ago. Ddog, 18 mths, disastrous recall. Well, 4 weeks later, lots of practise in the field, with other dogs, using a treat only and......

......she is recalling wonderfully. Even when a dog is running off in other direction, she is actually taking notice of me!!!

It's not on the first command but it's good enough for me for now.

So proud.

Although, I'm about to post another thread about her strange interaction and behaviour with a few other dogs today.....so.....work in progress!

Thanks everlong, it's not only a proud moment but a real breakthrough, and funnily enough, it's like she knows she's done well, there is an air of snootiness around her today Grin

Well done permadog!!

My little miss is coming along nicely too:) I've been doing Total Recall with her. So fr we are still doing it at home, but she is back with me like a shot at every whistle! Very proud of her, plus it has made a difference to her when we are out and about too, with her recall improved even without the whistle. Did have a relapse when she fell into squirrel zone yesterday though!
