Dog bed advice

I'm looking for a new bed for our 8 year old lab. To be fair we have always gone for fairly cheap ones as he has seemed happy with those. He is now getting a bit older and getting but stiff after long ones. The one we have is pretty wrecked and I'm on a shopping trip and looking for recommendations for good value beds that will last. Needs to be supportive, he likes to both curl up and stretch out, also likes a back to it as something to push against. I don't particularly want to go down the big plastic bed route, neither can I really afford the good orvis beds which I may have gone for. Any reconditions gratefully received.

Zippybed. Utterly brilliant. www.zippyuk.com/acatalog/Zippy_Pet_Beds.html

Completely washable and tumblable - both outers and inners. Deeply padded, warm, high sides and keep their shape. Completely.

They also sell on ebay and are a little cheaper on there.

Thank you. Will have good look but at quick sight they look lovely. Re read my original post, and should have said he gets some stiff joints after good walks.....
