Ways to entertain puppies indoors

For mine the absolute best is an empty little plastic bottle to chase around kitchen especially under table legs between chairs.
Or a dry pasta shell.
Any other ideas gratefully received.
Been up since 5.40 am and running out of ideas.

How old/what breed ?

10 week beagle.

Empty toilet/kitchen towel roll... Will get shredded though.

An ice cube if you have solid floors. Hide tiny treats under dog blankets and in boxes, under toys etc and let him have a treasure hunt. Being a beagle it'll probably take him about 30 seconds to find them all

Clicker training both entertains and wears them out. Have a look at some of Kikopups videos for inspiration.

I fill empty cardboard tubes (best ones are foil or clinfilm, as they're tougher) with kibble and fold the ends in. Similar with old toothpaste boxes and even bigger boxes. You can put one box inside another, inside another too and put something yummy in the middle to find.

Treat dispensing balls are great too. Lurcherboy can empty one in about 20 minutes, but it would take a pup much longer.

Not treat focused but I have recently bought a bouncy kong. She has great fun chasing it about and it works well on both tilled and carpeted floor.

We also play hide and seek which should helps with her recall. We hide in different rooms, under dining room table, in the garden and call her name. When she finds us she gets a liver treat.
