we've been thinking about a puppy for a while and will probably bite the bullet later on this year. I've had spaniels before and my OH has had two chows in the past, the last one died several years ago
I love the look of them and quite like the idea that they're not as "needy" as say, a spaniel! But I've heard that they're aggressive, dangerous, awful round children etc.
really? my OH says his past ones were friendly and impeccable around kids and loved to play. was he just lucky or is it really a case of it being the owners not the breed?
I have children, only one is relatively young at age 7 and he loves to play.
can you reassure me that a chow puppy would be fine if properly socialised?
