4 month old puppy suddenly won't eat

Hello, hello, looking for a bit of advice. My puppy is suddenly refusing the food she has eaten since weaning. I initially thought she was ill, but then realised she was bouncing around and ravenous! I am at a loss as to what to feed her. Yesterday evening after initially turning her nose up at it I got her to eat her tea by stiring in some cre cheese. That has not worked today and I have eventually resorted to feeding her a kitten pouch, which she inhaled in around one second. Has anyone experienced their puppy suddenly going off their regular good and what should I do? I've read about how important it is to introduce new foods slowly and by mixing it with current food so as to avoid stomach upsets, but she won't eat her old food at all. Goodness knows what the kitten food will do! Any advice gratefully received.

Anyone??? She has now eaten a raw egg and a banana with gusto. Clearly hungry...what else could I give her from the human larder? Am off to pet store first thing for advice...

Yep mine went off dry food while teething, soaking it worked fine.

Ahha, maybe it's teething then. I always soak her food though. Maybe she is just a fussy pup.

When we first got our pup he was 15/16 weeks ( rescue) and he was very difficult to feed . One thing that worked was warming the food ,as it increases the smell , the other was feeding him from a spoon ,which although a bit ridiculous did work .

Yes, Goldie pup is like that, went off the kibble from the breeder [arden grange]...would rather starve! Tried several others...just spits them out.

She is now on Skinners ruff and ready, which is supposed to be ok for older puppies and adult dogs. It has a mixture of sizes and types of pieces which seem to be coated in something a bit sticky...bit of warm water on it and gobble gobble gone.
