In a year or two when we have our own house we are planning to get a german shepherd dog as a companion for my staffy. However i am deeply saddened by the kennel clubs current breed standard with that drunken looking walk and practically vertical sloping back.
I like to plan ahead ( as you may have guessed) and wondered if anyone knew where i could find a more 'working' type shepherd or a reputable breeder that breeds more healthy dogs or even a rescue centre that could help us.
I would love another rescue dog but as my staffy is entire ( pedigree show dog) they won't adopt to us.
