New dog in the house!!!

We've just rehomed a dog from Wiccaweys. He is a gorgeous bc, absolutely terrrified, but he's eaten some cheese and some salami and I'm sure he will settle soon. Dear lovely boy.

what's your plan for where he's sleeping tonight? I've slept with mine in the living room for the last two nights but tonight she'll be shut in the kitchen as I have to get a proper nights sleep and that's where I need her to be, everyone's been saying to just do it and ignore any whining/barking but I'm very nervous!

He slept downstairs on the sofa. He's terrified and doesn't want to move. At least he's eaten some breakfast. Someone has done something horrible to him.

You should never leave a pup or dog to 'cry it out', this can lead to insecurity and separation issues.

He has not been crying it out! Dh brought him upstairs where everyone else sleeps. He went back to the sofa. Must get them out!

There are plenty of sofas in the house! ~And the one he's on is huuuuuge! We used to have one dog sleeping in bed and another on our bed. So we'll see!
