Think puppy has ear mites?

She is shaking her head, looks like scabs in one ear, and been generally unsettled today, a friend who has dogs thinks she has mites, so it is off to vets first thing Monday, but can I ease it in anyway this weekend for her, and should I keep her away from the children? is it contagious?

Buy a lotion tomorrow and give them a good clean. You can buy stuff in any pet shop. Really easy to use with cotton wool.

I use advocate for fleas, all worms and ear mites - perhaps you could consider this.

Vets open on Saturday morning. Ring them and ask for an appointment and advice. It would be much kinder to treat a young puppy as soon as possible.

Thanks everyone, took her to vets this morning and they think she has an ear infection, bless her, we have cleaning solution and ear drops which we have applied twice now, she a bit out of sorts but eating fine and is sleeping now, so she must be worn out as it kept her awake last night, hopefully this will sort it out.
