Dog chews everything when left alone

Our dog, 10 months old is crate trained. We have tried leaving her in the kitchen when we go out but she just chews everything until we return so we are now having to leave her locked in the crate. This includes overnight when we are in bed.

We have tried two times unsuccessfully to get her out of her crate as dont like leaving her locked up. She is fine going in and out of her crate when the door is open btw, doesnt cry when in it.

She is left 45 minutes in the morning, 2 hours for work and 1 hour in the afternoon.

So looking for some advice really as to how to train her not to chew things.

When we have left her the kitchen she has her crate open for access to her bed, she goes for a walk beforehand, 30 mins to an hour. She has food/water and an array of toys. Everything on the benches is put out of her reach. we have tried leaving a marrow bone to work her way through, kongs, chewy sticks/balls. Weve left the radio on and off. Weve also tried putting her crate away and leaving her with a dog bed instead, which she destroyed the first time we left it.

So far she has chewed kitchen door, baby gate and ripped wallpaper off the corner wall by the door.

Any advice greatfully received.

It sounds like separation anxiety. There are things you can do to help, like leaving her for minutes without your company, and increasing the time, and treating her for appropriate behaviour. She is probably teething at the moment as well. This can go on till 18 months or so, and chewing is normal. It's the wallpaper and the floor which suggest the anxiety. There is loads of good info online about this, and probably lots of experienced people here who can articulate what to do better than I.
