We have a lab - 19 months old. She usually gets two walks each day of around 45 mins to an hour.
Today is DD2's 16th birthday so we went out for a family lunch. Mutt got a long walk first thing then a quick romp round the garden before we left for lunch. Then she was crated with her stuffed kong and an antler.
We were away from 1.20 - 4.40 so i expected to be met by a ball of doggy energy. However, after an enthusiastic welcome she dragged herself off to her favourite spot by the radiator in the sitting room and is snoring her head off. This is so NOT what i expected! And to think i fretted about leaving her without a second walk!
She is going to be up at stupid o'clock tomorrow isn't she?
