my pup has brought much joy to the tutu household!

i dont think i can actually put into words how much i love this puppy....and ive never seen DH so completely meltingly daft with anything in 23 years together!

pup is a long coat german shepherd. we researched the breed for ages, waited for the right breeder, travelled 2 hours each way to get him.

he has totally and utterly stolen our hearts. he is 12 weeks old today - he started puppy classes yesterday and was an absolute star! he is so quick to learn - he has a lovely sociable nature, he likes other dogs (of all sizes!) and is friendly with people.

not sure he will ever be a guard dog! he is so placid, my 9 yr old cavalier king charles is the boss!

This is the most heart-melting thread I have ever read . Long may it continue!

he is just so gorgeous in every way! i listen to dh talking to him when he thinks i cant hear....

pups ears are just lifting....heard dh the other morning doing a baby voice and telling him to "sort your ears out son!"

he is absolutely beautiful and good natured with it....not bolshy and good as gold from the moment we got him home. housetrained within days. no whining. happy to be alone but he is equally happy to be smothered in kisses! he is just perfect.
my weeny cav was harder work as a pup! its funny watching her hold her own - she is dwarfed by him now....but he submits to her every time she gets a monk on!

They are practically the same size!

Ah Vicar he sounds absolutely gorgeous. Such an intelligent noble breed of dog ........and fun . I am looking forward to future updates .

I LOVE long-haired GSDs, it's one of the best things on earth seeing them trying to control their ears when they're puppies

How lovely Vicar. Dogs ears make me laugh. Finn's are huge, they seem to be adult size whereas the rest of him hasn't caught up yet. He waggles them at me when I talk to him, makes me smile everytime.

He sounds lovely. Dog ears are the best. I swear mine are an entire communication device in their own right!
