Is that mad? Smile

Strongly considering a second dog. DH is mad keen and I thought it would be a nice Christmas surprise for him. I am provisionally on a list for a litter due mid January, but would get lots of pictures etc. in a box full of puppy stuff for Xmas day! I have gone through the vetting with the breeder, and vetted her too. First time I have posted about this on here but researched for a while.

Caveat - I am not getting a puppy for Christmas! Have a Springer already so I know what having a dog is like, so to speak. He's accident prone, so I know the pitfalls too, and all about vet bills! In fact, I am at the vets in an hour again as he's limping like mad and has done for three days now.

Is that combination mad? I think it might work really well, same energy requirements and training needs etc?

Would a dog/dog combo work? I just fancy another dog, for some reason.

Thoughts, advice?

I can deal with chaos Smile They both have similar needs I believe and Ddog is only one, so they will spend their lives together.

Thanks, I wonder if anyone else thinks dog/dog is ok?
