Needadog/pup (which is he, now he's one?!) did his KC Gold and passed, as I mentioned a few times 
Our trainer goes no further, for various reasons, but DH really loves the formal training (I am more of a clicker girl myself).
We were approached about letting him be a gundog but not so sure about that.
What else can we consider that would give the dog and the husband the enjoyment they both get from training?
