Quick and easy clicker tricks?

DDog and I are holed up for the day with sick baby. He's also been away for a few weeks so a chance to rebuild our relationship is good.

Has anyone got any simple tried and tested clicker tricks we can learn? He knows the basics. Thanks.

Our two favourites in this house are shut door and bang (pointing finger, saying bang and she plays dead).

The play dead took a bit longer as there are more stages but door was easy. Get dog to start off by touching a post it note on the floor. Once they have got the hang of it stick it to an open door and once they've sussed this add the command.

'Touch' is useful and you can use it to get all sorts of later moves (like the one suggested by binger) - a friend is a very good clicker trainer and managed all sorts with her dog (Mine has about learned 'sit' although she'll try down sometimes.. not the brightest spark!)

Have a look at some of Kikopup's training videos on Youtube. She has lots of practical ones as well as trick training, so plenty to keep you going.

Didn't get chance to do any! Blimmin' baby wouldn't sleep, just needed holding all day. So we perfected down-stays and in-your-beds. Dull!
